Information for Potential Job Applicants
KU HealthPartners, Inc (KUHP) is the faculty practice plan for the
School of Nursing and the School of Allied Health at the University of
Kansas. KUHP is a diverse group of Advanced Practice Nurses and Allied
Health Specialists who hold clinical faculty appointments in
the context of an academic environment.
Qualified applicants will hold a master’s degree and/or a PhD in a nursing or allied health discipline, and will
demonstrate excellence in advanced nursing practice or allied health clinical practice. Applicants must comply with
licensure and other applicable regulatory requirements relevant to their discipline in the State of Kansas,
including certification and/or licensure maintenance. Although positions
are usually clinical in nature, a faculty appointment may be awarded with
opportunities to interface with students and other faculty in non-clinical
settings.
Major responsibilities include:
- Provide value-enhanced care to patients in a variety of settings
- Advance care delivery, performance improvement, and evidence-based
practice
- Participate in research activities including dissemination of
research findings
- Provide supervision to University of Kansas students
- Assist in grant administration and program development
