Board of Directors

The KU Health Partners Board of Directors is comprised of a diverse group of School of Nursing and School of Allied Health faculty. In addition to the executive committee leadership, elected and appointed Directors complete the Board of Directors roster.

Serving as Ex Officio members, the board of directors executive committee membership includes the Senior Vice Chancellor (SVC) of the University of Kansas Medical Center; the Dean of each of the Schools, the Executive Director of KU Health Partners; and the Administrative Officers of each of the Schools. At the present time, Karen Miller, RN, PhD, FAAN serves as Board of Directors President, and represents the interests of the SVC and Deans of the Schools of Nursing and Allied Health.

Additionally, four members of the board are appointed (two from each school, allied health and nursing) and four members of the board are elected (two from each school, allied health and nursing). Appointments are made by the Dean of each respective School; elected positions are filled through a nomination and voting process.
