Where does it begin?

Determining needs, sharing ideas, collaborating to accomplish clinical goals, agreeing to be a part of something greater - that's what KU Health Partners, Inc. stands for.

KU Health Partners, Inc. (KUHP) is a clinical enterprise operated by the University of Kansas School of Nursing and School of Allied Health. Organized as a 501 (c)(3) corporation, KU Health Partners is the faculty practice plan and sole entity for which managed care contracts are held regarding professional advanced practice nursing and allied health services provided by faculty of the two schools.

Mission

Our mission is to provide clinical services that promote and support the educational, research, and community service endeavors of both the University of Kansas School of Nursing and the University of Kansas School of Allied Health.

Achievements

KU Health Partners was originally incorporated in 1994 as KU School of Nursing, Inc. In 1999, the name was changed to reflect the partnership with the School of Allied Health. Today, KU Health Partners is a vibrant and growing clinical enterprise that functions as an integral part of the University of Kansas School of Nursing and the School of Allied Health.

KU Health Partners offers to the Greater Kansas City area the opportunity for direct access to professional advanced practice nursing and allied health services. In addition to basic primary care services, KU Health Partners has a unique focus on health promotion and optimal human functioning which is holistically provided and client-centered. A strong commitment exists to provide evidence-based care and to measuring and promoting positive client outcomes.
